Anyone here who is also innocent of drug diversion but was falsely accused and terminated? Can the BON take a license away even though there's no diversion at all? My case was the drug was just mistakenly left in my pocket and no intention at all to use or sell them. Now, I have an attorney and everything is still up in the air, investigation is still ongoing with the BON. A lot has been running out in my head and wanted to seek advice/inspiration who has going through same trial. I'm eager to hear any advice from you.  Thanks and hope to hear from any from you in this forum.

I'm sorry to hear about the situation you're going through. Being falsely accused of drug diversion is an incredibly stressful experience, and understandably, you're looking for advice and support from others who may have faced similar challenges.

Regarding the BON (Board of Nursing) and your license, the BON has the authority to investigate misconduct allegations, including drug diversion. However, they should consider all the evidence before making a decision. Since you already have an attorney, you're taking the proper steps to protect yourself and your license. It's essential to continue working closely with your legal counsel and ensure that all evidence supporting your case is thoroughly presented.

For inspiration and advice, seeking support from professional networks, online forums,  or nursing associations where others have faced similar issues might be helpful. They can offer guidance, share their experiences, and provide moral support during this challenging time.

It's also essential to take care of yourself mentally and emotionally during this period.

Wishing you a fair resolution in your case.
