Hi I am a sophomore at The University of Memphis and I have recently applied to Loewenberg. I have completed all of my prereqs accept microbiology which I am taking this coming Spring'18. For A&PI I made a B in the lecture and an A in the lab. For part 2, I made a C in the lecture and a B in the lab. I'm really disappointed because this is the first C I've made in college and I understand that LCON is very competitive. I have a high GPA but the C lowered it to a 3.5. I originally had a 3.7. I plan on taking A&PII online in the Spring to get a better a grade. I'm extremely nervous that I won't get accepted because of the C. I was told that we may hear a decision at the end of the Spring semseter but I was unsure how true this is. I noticed the ones who applied for the Spring'18 got their decision in the middle of the semester. I would appreciate any advice.

@cmascolo have you tried applying to UTHSC or Baptist? UT is a really good school.

Congratulations to everyone that got accepted.

Please did anyone apply to the accelerated BSN program for fall 2018? Did your acceptance state Accelerated BSN or just BSN?

I received my Acceptance letter to University of Memphis but 20mins letter I received second letter saying i was wait listed for Memphis and accepted to Jackson, please as anyone ever experienced this or was the second mail a mistake. I went ahead and forwarded my acceptance to Memphis campus since that was the first mail I received.

I also paid for the software as well and will complete the background check?

has anyone ever heard of this type of issue?

really? I would call them Monday. Hopefully it is a glitch in their system. The pdf I was sent won't allow me to sign my acceptance letter and send it, like there isn't a way for me to download it.

Congratulations either way! And to answer your question, mine says BSN. I don't have a previous degree, so I am ineligible to go the accelerated path.

Congratulations to you as well! I applied to the accelerated BSN and my acceptance letter just says BSN program so I assume we're accepted as accelerated. @michelle2018

I got accepted as well and I think we should make a Facebook group instead. It will be much easier. If anyone wants to make a thread search me on Facebook.
