Hello,
Is there anyone applying for the FNP program at University of Miami for Fall 2019?

I should also be submitting application by end of month. I am super nervous. I hope we hear back by the end of the year also. When I called the SON, I was told they accept 30 out of 300 or so applicants. Those odds make me nervous, but I do not want to go to different school. I know I need to apply to a few other places....I am thinking Vandy and Jefferson. Maybe Frontier also. What about you?

I believe you have to find your own preceptor for both programs. So Acute CareNP tends to be easier bc it's more hospital based while FNP is more MD office based. At least that's my understanding. I actually received the info from someone that has gone through ACNP UM program last year.
