Fall 2019 TCC Nursing Student

Published

Hey everyone! Fall 2018 semester ending and application season upon us I thought it might be time to open up a thread for us. I am finishing up my last pre-req's this semester and very hopeful that I will keep my 4.0 GPA. Is anyone else as excited as me?

Hello! I am finishing up my pre-req's as well. Still need to take the HESI though. From the last thread about spring 2019 everyone that was getting accepted made no less than a 92 on the HESI. So, my goal is to meet that mark then apply for the Fall 2019!

GPA is 3.79

A&P1 A

A&P2 B

Micro A

Hello, I am just working on gathering all of the information I need for my application! I will be applying with the following stats:

HESI - 94.5

I'm applying with the below grades, I also took medical terminology and am a microbiology lab assistant this semester as added bonuses. I didn't get to go to the information session last week. Do any of you have that info you could share with me?

AP1 -A

AP2- A

MICRO - A

HESI - 90.5

Applications opened up today!

Hi! My stats are...

Is anyone else having problems finding the Nursing Degree Audit?

Hello,

I too applied for fall 2019. I've completed all my prerequisites and corequisite with A's. And my Hesi score is a 89.

Hello!

I thought applications didn't open until February 15th?

I got a 92 on the HESI and my prerequisite GPA is a 3.7!

Does anyone know how to add up your points since it says online that you can get bonus points if you get a 90 or higher on the HESI? And when do we find out who got accepted to the program?

Thanks and good luck everyone ?

Hello Lacey ,

Where online did you see the info about getting a 90 or higher on Hesi. This is new to me". The admission decision includes a review of all required documents. In the selection process, points are assigned to all completed co-requisite general education courses in the nursing curriculum (see page 10) with special attention to grades received in Science and co- requisites as well as the score earned on the Nursing Admission Assessment Exam. The higher the grade in these and other co-requisites, the greater the points assigned. The more co-requisites completed, the higher the potential points awarded.

Where did you read that? and I saw the HESI bonus point thing on this page https://www.tcc.fl.edu/academics/programs/2103/ under admission requirements!

Thank you ?

My apologies this is tahnassa community college. I am from another school. Which means I am in the wrong post.
