Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hello all!

I am going to be applying for this program very soon and just wanted to see if anyone out there is also applying and how the stats are for this application cycle. I am earning my Bachelors in Science but wanting to go back and get my second degree in nursing. I am also applying to the Valencia/UCF Concurrent program as well.

Overall GPA: 3.57

Program GPA: 3.53

TEAS: 81.3%

Not sure when it changed but my status is all green now! The weeks are flying by.

Mine changed sometime last week as well! Hopefully we'll find out sometime soon :)

Mine is also all green now!

My status is currently "ELIGIBLE" !

Hey did y'all get an email?

I have not. But I did only apply for the traditional program, not concurrent. Have you received anything?

I got an email that I was being denied from Valencia because Seminole State was my first choice and I have been accepted to that one.

So you got your acceptance letter from seminole state?! Congrats!

Yes. Thank you so much! You should be hearing soon too!

I'm so anxious now! But out of curiosity, how did Valencia know you applied to Seminole? I applied to both schools as well but I don't recall them asking me if I had applied elsewhere!

Best of luck!

When you apply for concurrent through UCF you have to indicate which other campuses you also applied to and you have to choose a "first choice" even though technically I didn't mind whichever. So I guess UCF communicated to both schools that I am applying to SSC and Valencia programs. And through there Valencia knew which one was my "first choice" and so they just denied me because I got into my first choice anyways.

I got an email today too! The same two you did. I was accepted into my first choice SSC and denied for valencia. Has anyone else received anything?
