Falls are a scary part of reality withinpatients staying at an acute care hospital or long term care facility.This research will look at the mechanisms of falls; the who, what,why, when and how. Noting where the falls most commonly occur and theprevention methods that can help to reduce this great number. Hospital systemsalready have the Morse Fall Risk Assessment Tool in place, but are that enough?
