Fall 2019 Lonestar Hopefuls

Hey everybody. I'm not sure if it's too early but I'm making this page for anybody who is applying to the nursing program at Lonestar College for the Fall of 2019. Looks like Montgomery, Cyfair, and North Harris have applications from Jan 7-April 12. Good luck to everyone!

Has anyone taken professor heather Clesi for pharmacology online at Tom all?

There just aren't many options for in person during the summer. My main concern is having the full summer to take the class. I don't want to have to take a super condensed Session 1 or 2 version if I don't have to.

Yeah I saw that too. I'm still working full time so I don't really have an option I need to get as many classes out of the way as possible otherwise I would've waited for fall semester. I've taken accelerated courses before and they're manageable if you're only taking 1 or 2 max.

Also Kingwood offers the full summer course online but you need to email Valerie.

I'm pretty sure I'm gonna end up taking 2 classes since you have to be at least part time (6 credit hours) to get financial aid. Will probably take General Chemistry as well since I'll need that for CRNA or Med school. So I'd rather have all Summer to take 2 science based courses, but that's just me.

Currently taking Professor Alexander for Pharmacology at Kingwood

I took from Lee jerls at Kingwood. It was 100% online and her class is cut and dry. Pretty easy. We had 3 tests and homework and she spells out everything for you. IMO an easy A. The online was a draw back for me tho. I felt like I was learning some of the things like dosage calculations on my own. I was able to figure it out but just took extra time and researching.
