Fall 2019 Lonestar Hopefuls

Hey everybody. I'm not sure if it's too early but I'm making this page for anybody who is applying to the nursing program at Lonestar College for the Fall of 2019. Looks like Montgomery, Cyfair, and North Harris have applications from Jan 7-April 12. Good luck to everyone!

aab1997, I am under the impression that the results that I have received are the results of the background check and the epass is the 'key' to sharing that info with the nursing program directors etc. It took 5 days (including last weekend) for me to receive results after I sent the SSN verification to the expedite email for castlebranch. No worries, aab1997!

whats your next step, submitting the background check results? mine haven't come back.

Well, I hope I don't have any more steps until orientation because I'm going out of town until Sunday evening lol. The results automatically went where the background check portion is on the castlebranch page, so I hope that's all I needed to do. It seems all we had to do was pay for the castlebranch order and do the SSN verification. I googled plenty on the subject and can't find more than what we have here so I'm pretty sure we've done what we were supposed to. ?

I think it's just there for you to view because you have a right to the information. They'll have access to the same report

Does anybody know how long after your fingerprint appointment you get your card in the mail?

Oh, and does anybody know when we can start registering for classes? Is it after we turn everything in?

If I’m not mistaken they will register us for classes themselves, and a current student said in July or so? We should know more after orientation

mine came in the mail today, and I never got the Identgo email. Although I did the procedure earlier this year for a different school, I am thinking that could be the reason they're not sending me to go for the fingerprinting again.

Ok so just a little heads up, once you complete your background check you will receive a blue card in the mail from the Tx Board of Nursing. Be sure not to throw it away or look over it because you NEED to upload it to Castle Branch. It's very easy to look over, so definitely be on the lookout.

Thank you. We tend to get a lot of junk mail. About how long did it take you to receive that? I’ve only received an epass that has ‘pending’ stamped across it. What about the fingerprinting? Do we receive something for that or does that go straight to the school?
