Fall 2019 Lonestar Hopefuls

Hey everybody. I'm not sure if it's too early but I'm making this page for anybody who is applying to the nursing program at Lonestar College for the Fall of 2019. Looks like Montgomery, Cyfair, and North Harris have applications from Jan 7-April 12. Good luck to everyone!

they start calling alts basically when an acceptee declines their acceptance/forfeits their spot, misses deadlines for certain docs, misses orientation, doesn’t pass their drug test, etc.

You don’t know you ranking! Maybe you can ca and ask! But yes you are called once something drops or is dropped from the program!

but remember: ppl applied to other school and got in so they might decline their lonestar stop, failed drug test, or background checks, and not turning in paper work correctly!

I applied for UTHealth for Fall as well as Lone Star. Acceptances go out there at the end of May, so if I get in there I will be giving up my spot at Montgomery, but if not then I’ll see everyone at orientation! Has anyone created a Facebook page yet?

ok thats call, I start the lvn program june 3rd.. fingers crossed i get call off the alternate list

Yes!! If you are an alternate don’t lose hope. I know I personally applied to another school closer to where I live and if I get in there I will most likely be dropping my spot at Montgomery which gives an opportunity to an alternate! I’m sure there are others like me as well

Is this summer program or fall? I thought last fall they did orientation a week before classes started . This seems so soon!

Fall. They do a seminar/orientation again in August so maybe that’s what you’re thinking of??

Did anyone who had North Harris as their first choice or any choice receive a alternate or rejection letter? I haven’t gotten anything

Nothing from north Harris today. We’re thinking it’s due to the weather. Hopefully hear something by Monday.
