Fall 2019 Lonestar Hopefuls

Hey everybody. I'm not sure if it's too early but I'm making this page for anybody who is applying to the nursing program at Lonestar College for the Fall of 2019. Looks like Montgomery, Cyfair, and North Harris have applications from Jan 7-April 12. Good luck to everyone!

Sorry, I responded with my friends account by accident. No, I already had my fingerprints done though.

I don't know if this has already been said (not reading through all these replies lol) but notification for the Fall 2019 ADN Basic Track will be in June according to the LSC website. I don't know how anyone is doing fingerprints already for Fall 2019 ADN Basic Track. You're going to have to do it again once you're accepted and TBON requests the CBC.

Also, I'd like to add my name to the list that is going, 7.664 M T CF NH.

I already have the non-nursing courses taken and am enrolled for Pharmacology (RNSG 1301) for Summer II at NH with Noeller. Anyone else going to be in that class?

Also...long time reader, first time poster! Good luck to everyone. I'll be keeping an eye on this thread.

Yes it’s already been said and also we know it won’t be June they said June as a cushion because there some changes happening! Someone called today and was told we will here soon! And the ppl who had fingerprint done applied for lvn that’s why they have it

Ah, thank you for the clarification. I did see some LVN folks were already notified and in the process. I figured June would be the cushion. SHSU is notifying by June 14 and their deadline is tomorrow, so it can't take LSC that much longer lol.

You are welcome I’ll add you to the list! And originally notifications were suppose to be April but do to staff changes and clinical site they gave themselves more time

Now I'm super confused because I got a request for fingerprints but I only applied to ADN at Tomball and Montgomery.

Yea so there’s some people that got their fingerprints done already b cause they got accepted into the LVN. But yesterday some people received emails about getting their fingerprints done and it seemed like their first choice was Tomball. So we were all hoping that means that acceptance letters are super close. But to be honest we’re all just birdboxing it (I really hope somebody gets this reference! )

A couple of us who applied to Tomball for ADN received fingertip emails that says "Your agency/organization has pre-enrolled you for a fingerprint-based background check" from IdentoGo. It also lists Board of Nurse Examiners as the service so we can only assume that those who have received are either an alternative or have a seat within the program?? I'm taking this as a good luck sign!

It was random and I know another person in this forum who received their email only a couple minutes after myself also had Tomball ADN as their first choice. That is not to say any one who didn't receive an email didn't get it. Again it was completely random so most of us are hoping acceptance letters go out soon! ?

So did those who applied ADN and got the fingerprint email request go forward with setting that up? Or are you waiting for letter first?

I believe someone called and was told that they can go ahead and set it up or that they can wait Until letters come in
