Fall 2019 Lonestar Hopefuls

Hey everybody. I'm not sure if it's too early but I'm making this page for anybody who is applying to the nursing program at Lonestar College for the Fall of 2019. Looks like Montgomery, Cyfair, and North Harris have applications from Jan 7-April 12. Good luck to everyone!

@SunheiThat's so good to hear! I made B's in 1 & 2, but had some tough professors, one during the Summer LOL

@Lindsey Barrera There will be a pop up message, but that's because you've taken the course before. You should still be able to enroll (I called and confirmed)

Okay so I spoke with Montgomery first earlier today, and was told just because those were sent out doesn't mean they are done being sent out and doesn't mean you didn't make the program if you didn't get one. I then spoke with the cyfair nursing director, and she said she doesn't know why those emails have been sent out because they haven't finalized anything, and that those letters were sent out "erroneously" and to just wait for the letter. And I then called north harris (couldnt get an answer at tomball) and was told the same thing, that no decisions have been made yet so they aren't sure why those went out either. I know it's still varying info and idk what to listen to and what not to listen to, it's just stressing me so much and figured I would pass on the info.

@Aziza Willey it’s not even giving the option to enroll. I’m so confused with this new update. Where’s the dang enroll button? Can someone screen shot it for me? Lol

Eh.......these are the same people who swore up and down that the notification date hadn't changed. I believe that there is a breakdown in communication between the campuses SOOOOO I'm gonna remain optimistic and hope that the emails that went out today are a sign that things are close to wrapping up!!

Don't lose hope if you didn't get an email today. We'll all know soon enough and then the real chaos will begin!!! ?

Ok so it looks like most campuses are saying the same, wow you gave hope and relief ?. I can’t wait until this is all over. So tired of anxiety lol

Mu other fear is that my app didn’t go through properly, I had that happen last year. Tomball had sent me an email to upload what I was missing and I didn’t even check my emails and assumed everything was ok. As you can imagine I was mad for days. This time I checked daily, especially the app and it was still submitted.?

Hello guys! Is anyone else here concerned about the June date? I genuinely hope we get them now/ASAP because I know me and some other students won’t even be here in the state probably. Also has anyone been having trouble actually trying to get into contact with the advisors/anyone whose over the nursing program at the LSC campuses?

Umm i think the emails went out for a reason! I don’t think calling one campus is like getting the same information from all campuses! it seem they all operate differently from each other! And i don’t see them just send out information in error! Not at a time like this! And apparently they don’t talk to each other because one campus always has different information from the others soo ??‍♀️??‍♀️??‍♀️
