Fall 2020 Kennesaw State University

Hi guys!

I'm applying to KSU's fall program, but I'm not sure if my scores are competitive enough and I'm honestly really nervous about them. I hope everyone else did well though!

Overall GPA: 3.75

Science GPA: 3.8 (I think, I tried to calculate it but...I'll just put my individual scores up just to make sure)

A&P 1 with lab: A

A&P 2 with lab: A

Chem 1151 with lab: A

Chem 1152 with lab: B

Microbiology with lab: A

TEAS Score: 81.3

I'm really insecure about my teas score? I heard a lot of the people who apply have an 84 and above. Do you think I have a chance of getting in? I'm probably going to try to apply to Georgia State University as well

It really is. It would be one thing if they were clearly communicating with us. To know why things are being delayed and to be given a more definite timeline would be nice.

I don’t think that’s what’s going on because past semesters received their admission letters earlier than now, and their grades weren’t put in. I think that they’re trying to figure out what’s going to happen as far as classes go for the fall. Regardless, we should be given our letters already. They’ve had since the end of January, and other schools are still moving forward with acceptances/classes. I know KSU can get on board and still make things happen.

Yeah I'm honestly feeling super played about how long this is taking. Not even a courtesy email to apologize or let us know a time frame. One of my friends is pretty much leaning towards another school that they were accepted to because KSU won't let us know. Wonder how many students they will lose because of the long wait.

I completely agree. I mean, they know how hard we all work just to get to this point and how much we all have riding on this, and the lack of respect there is frustrating. Everyday gets worse, and at this point it seems like a joke to even open up my email account. It would be a different story if they could just acknowledge the situation that this is by far the longest that they have ever taken to make a decision. I agree with Victoria, and I'm curious how the Fall semester is going to change. I wonder if they will have to cut the cohort sizes down or drastically change the dynamics.

I just heard a response from admissions office. She said we would definitely be receiving email updates next week. I'm guessing it will be the middle of next week.
