Fall 2020 Kennesaw State University

Published

Hi guys!

I'm applying to KSU's fall program, but I'm not sure if my scores are competitive enough and I'm honestly really nervous about them. I hope everyone else did well though!

Overall GPA: 3.75

Science GPA: 3.8 (I think, I tried to calculate it but...I'll just put my individual scores up just to make sure)

A&P 1 with lab: A

A&P 2 with lab: A

Chem 1151 with lab: A

Chem 1152 with lab: B

Microbiology with lab: A

TEAS Score: 81.3

I'm really insecure about my teas score? I heard a lot of the people who apply have an 84 and above. Do you think I have a chance of getting in? I'm probably going to try to apply to Georgia State University as well

If you want you could also post the group me link in this thread if it would make it easier for you!

Hello everyone and CONGRATS on those who made it in! I have a quick question for anyone who knows about the program in detail. Do you know about how many days/what times you are expected to be on campus/clinic? I am trying to see if commuting from Gwinnett County would be doable (not having to drive to KSU 5x a week).

Thank you in advance!

So far it's looking like we'll be on campus for classes 3-4 times a week, most classes starting at 8am. They haven't given us information regarding clinicals just yet, but those would be anywhere between 8-12hour rotations. I too live in gwinnett county and thought about commuting, but I quickly realized how that wouldn't be possible LOL. I would be extremely tired, so instead I'm staying with a relative in the KSU area for days I have lectures and coming home on days I do not. Hope this was somewhat helpful!

Thanks for replying Rachel. I wish I could stay down there half of the week, but two small people would be looking for me at home ?

OK, so I have to seriously think this commute thing through! If I don't get into my first choice I'll be picking between two evils, distance and KSU or excessive tuition and Mercer.

I hope you have a great two years ahead of you!

? oh yeah, they definitely need you. My two choices were also Mercer and KSU, but after Kennesaw sent my acceptance letter, the pricing difference definitely made a huge factor in deciding! Wishing you the best two years as well!
