Hi, I will be applying to hcc for fall 2020. My stats are:

overall gpa- 3.35

pre req gpa-3.5

teas- 75%

Do I have a chance of getting into the program for the fall term?

I wasn’t told to do this and the only receipt I got had my actual finger printing on jt for my own knowledge. I did m, however, pay online through HCC portal.

I just sent an email to health sciences to see if they need it by today.

Per (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) yes they do. “Please send me a copy of the receipt of the fingerprint the technician will provide you with at Ybor as proof that you completed the requirement.”

Per (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME), sending in your fingerprints is not required, but it is recommended. She said sometimes Ybor does not get the results to them on time confirming you completed your fingerprints, so she will take it from us as a precaution. Hope this helps.

An email just came through from the clinical liaison office regarding orientation. There are required videos to watch.

It depends when the prints were done. I contacted her today and she told me it is not required. I got mine done the 1st.

I got mine done the first also, and sent them today after seeing the comments on here. I’d rather be safe than sorry. It seems as though this should have been notated better if they wanted it done as a requirement. I’m grateful for our group to use as a resource. Thank you all for Continuing to post things as we get through these initial processes.

I emailed (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) after the comments and she said it’s only necessary if you did it on the 8th or after.
