Fall 2015 City Colleges of Chicago people?

I submitted my application for the city college ADN program earlier this year and since it is May, I figured I would start this topic for when the admissions decisions come back in a few weeks! I hope I get in, I would be so happy if I did.

Random question: How many seats are available?

lpn starts June 1st. They sent letters may 20th! Not much time to get ready.....just be prepared to run around. Perhaps get physicals now, especially since you have to get a two step tb test.

Thanks Trw, I guess I will have to, I just don't get the issues they have every year with sending out the acceptance letters! It will be a waste of money to do it all ahead of time and then don't get in. Also, it's very unfair to those like yourself who can't plan what they are going to do. I guess it would be ok if they didn't give us a date, but since they did they should have had them out on time! Lol...it's just frustrating not being able to plan :/

Hey Guys,

I just got an acknowledgement E-mail apologizing for the delayed response, but they said that they should have a decision made, HOPEFULLY, by June 1st.....lets keep our fingers crossed!

Yeah, I got that e-mail too, just sucks it seems they're a bit unorganized this time around. Hopefully we will know in the next couple days, but I agree with the comments before go ahead and make your physical appointments and cpr class dates now, b/c I made an appointment and the next appointment for a doc was on Jun 26th.....I know all clinics are different but better get the appointment sooner or later is all I'm saying.. :)

when making the appointment for the physical exam do i just go to my family doctor? I'm a bit confused. do i have to specify which exam do i need? thanks

Yes. I went to my doctor, tell them you need titers, 9 panel drug(blood test not urine), 2 step Tb, and vision.
