Fall 2014 Baptist School of Health Professions San Antonio

Published

I am looking for info on the acceptance rate on the RN program for BSHP, or average TEAS scores that are accepted into the program. I applied for the Fall 2014 and I will be taking my TEAS soon. Any information or if anyone else applying???

Hi! I applied for the fall as well and I received my letter on Wednesday I am on the alternate for the day program... I figured I would be since my Teas was not very well. I was told by one of the admission advisors that 77 is usually a good score for the teas and a GPA range of 3.0-4.0 is good. Hope this helps. Have you not received an email about the fall yet?

Hi, Thanks for the info!!! I actually did my Teas a few weeks ago but re-register to retake since I didn't do well. I let my anxiety get to me. Yes, so I didn't receive anything since I haven't completed the process. :( When you say alternate, that means you are on a wait list? I also applied for the day. :)

Bambi have you heard anything yet?

Does that mean your on a waitlist?

@cljd No, nothing yet. Did you apply too?? I hope I get in.

Hi!! I applied for the RN day program for fall 2014 and received an acceptance email on Wednesday! I'm beyond excited :D

I had a 3.25 in my pre-reqs and got a 90.3% on my TEAS V. I was nervous because my gpa is low and I know that's definitely what they look at (more than the TEAS V) when deciding acceptance.

The deadline for those accepted into the program to actually accept their seat is May 28th so don't worry if you're on the alternate list, some people will let it go and you will be bumped up!

Anyone else in??

Hi CuteAra I received my acceptance e-mail last week. I was informed I did not get accepted to the day class but could be placed on the alternate list or accept a seat in the night/weekend program. So of course I accepted the night/weekend. I really wanted day but did not want to take a chance and not get a seat. The night program doesn't seem too bad though.

@cuteara Hi, thanks for sharing.Congrats on your acceptance!! I was wondering if there was a deposit to accept a seat if so how much? I really hope I make it.

Hi MilSpouse13, congratulations on your acceptance!! I really don't think the night program is bad as far as scheduling, I was thinking of applying to that but I figured it was more competitive because there were more limited spaces. Have you gotten your CPR? I feel like there's so much to do before school begins and I want to be prepared. I'm already looking for scrubs, just so I don't have to pay a butt load of money all at once.

@Bambi210, there is a $300 seating fee due on processing day (no idea when that is) that I heard is put into tuition after classes begin.

Specializes in M/S, LTC, Corrections, PDN & drug rehab.

Is this a straight RN program or a bridge?

Straight RN, by the end of the program we'll be receiving an Associates of Applied Science in Nursing.
