First of all thank you to everyone who is taking time to read my problems. I graduated with a BSN 5 years ago and fialed NCLEX twice. Broken heart and being stupid, I thought I am never gonna take it again so I didn't. Untill recently, I have been feeling my life is not satisfying and Nursing is what its missing. I decided to take the exam again. I have started getting ready for it. I am shooting to take the exam in Mid or late January 2010. I have forgotten everything so I started by going over physiology and Assements. I have completed circulatory system and the renal system. Now working on the Fluid Electrolyte bablance. My next step is to comple all the systems, then do pathophysiology and eventually the pharmacology. My plan is to do 2 revisions myself and then Kaplan course after that. I need to know if I am on the right path? If not what do you think I need to do and what changes do I need to make. Last of all please give me some info on NCBSN. I love you all and will apretiate each and every comment.

i would suggest that you complete nclex style practice questions as you progress through your study plan. example: as you study a body system (...or better still...study based upon the 8 categories that are covered on the nclex...) you should complete 100's of questions for each area you study. prentice hall publishers has a great book "reviews and rationales nclex-rn comprehensive review (isbn-13: 9780131195998...about $31.00) that is broken down exactly like the nclex exam. also saunder's comprehensive review for the nclex-rn (isbn-13: 9781416037088...$44.00) is a good book if you want to study by body system. once you are comfortable with your content for each body system (or nclex categories), i would suggest you begin completed random topic/subject nclex style questions so that you can prepare yourself for any topic that comes up on the nclex. if you can, incorporate the priority/delegation/assignment book by lacharity as you study--this will be a good resource and you advance in your studies.

good luck!!
