Failed Pre-Employment Drug Screen

Took a urine drug test Jan 5 and received a call from MRO the following Friday.  Tried to call back but the office was closed.  I took a pre-employment drug test for a travel contract.  I've been off for the holidays and was looking to return to work next week.  I did take a gummy back in November but I was certain that it wasn't going to still be in my system now that we are in the month of Jan.  Have not had the opportunity to hear from the MRO but im 99% sure they are calling to let me know that the gummy did show up.  My biggest concern now, that if that is the case will the Travel Agency report me to the BON.  I am here in Texas and have been looking at every article, forum, reddit post, YouTube video...you name it and I've probably already read it or viewed it.  I am just wondering if I should self report if this is the case because I saw some forums and videos saying that self reporting will keep it from posting online when your license is looked up.  Any thoughts, especially if you are in Texas and is/or have dealt with this.

A gummy you took in November will not show up on a urine drug test in January. Are you a regular and consistent user? What makes you 99% sure this is what the call is about?

Just following up just in case anyone comments or even sees this post.  MRO did call me and it was not the THC.  The doctor stated that there was a very low level of morphine/opiate that showed up on my drug screen.  I was totally shocked because that was the last thing I thought he would say.  I told him that I do take weight loss shots and had been working on my diet, I literally had no idea what could have made that show up.  He then said have I been taking poppy seeds.  Sure enough the dressing that I add to my salad is rich in poppy seeds.  Had no idea!! He said that I passed and my test results would now be negative.  I attached a picture of the dressing that I was using.  Please don't use!!  The feeling that I felt over the weekend waiting for the MRO to call me and thinking of all the things that could happen, I can only imagine those who this actually happened to.  I definitely will be looking into ways to push for changes to this ridiculous punishment that nurses have to undergo for something as simple as THC.  I read so many stories about the reprimands being placed on Nurses license just for something as simple as a med-error and it caused the individual to barely be able to work.  No way!  I would have never realized the severity of what other Nurses have experienced had it not been for this happening.  I'm ready to do something about this!

You are absolutely right! It was from consuming rich poppy seed dressing that I use on my salad.  The MRO said it came back as a very faint amount of morphine.

I had a travel assignment. Had to sign in the contract that I would not eat anything with poppy seeds. Must wonder if doctors can have poppy  seeds.
