I had my first foundations test back today. I failed the test by one point. I thought I did well. I wonder what the next test is going to bring me???

I am really disappointed, people around where getting 90's and 85.

Will I cut it... ??:imbar :imbar

I know how you feel. I was disappointed on a clinical lecture test the other day. It is very different and hard to realize that I might not get the grades I want, but instead have to settle for a grade that just passes the class. The tests are nothing like I have ever experienced before and truly are a totally different way of thinking. Keep on trying. That is all any of us can do. Just do your best. It does not matter AT ALL what anybody else scores.

As long as you realize why you got the questions wrong I think you will do fine. I failed my 1st quiz and thought I had done way better! I had missed passing by one as well. But I understood why I had been wrong. I just try to study harder and not memorize but rather understand what it all means. I too shall have to learn to live with the passing grade instead of trying to make A's becasue I am already stressed out and tired enough as it is....

As someone else stated earlier, as long as you know why you got the questions wrong. I too failed my first test and thought that I had done way better than I actually did. Try to understand the process and not memorize and that will help you more than anything. I am in my last semeter and let me tell you making the passing grade is all you need to worry about. I use to cry, sit up all night long, and keep my head in the books every second because I was no longer making A's, but I came to realize that the stress was only making things worse. You will so learn how to study for each professors test and how to answer the questions by process of elimination. So keep you head up and hang in there. After all when you graduate and get a job it's not going to matter one iota if you got an A in your classes or just passed. All that will matter is if you know what you are doing. Good luck I wish you the best!! :wink2:
