FAILED NCLEX 5 Times please pleasae HELP ME!!!

So I graduated in May of last year. I took my test on July 30th. I took like 3 months off then got back to studying. I been slacking on and off for about 8 months. Almost evrybody in my graduating class have their licnese and I dont. If u read my previous post back in Sep. I dont remember, I said that everything came hard for me and it still does. Being out of school for 8months I think things change. "what u arent learning u are forgetting and yes I sure did!" I am doing the kaplan Question in the bank and those questions are definetly NOT easy are kind of like the real test. Even though I seen the test I'm nervous for one the new Nclex-PN exam changed this April 2011. Its getting harder. Idk what to do now :( I went to all the websites trying to find help and i cant please I beg u guys if u kno of any materials i can use to study??? I also seen that Exam Cram was recommended by some people. I went to school to be a nurse and I just cant pass boards!!!! Its so depressing but i still go and take it again hoping i can pass and same results. Please I really need help if u have any book sugguestions let me kno i would appreciate it soooooooooooooooooooo much u guys dont even kno how hard its for me. So what do u guys think about Kaplan Question in the bank? and do u guys think it was helpful?? SHould I really do all the 1000 questions and rationals??? please please I really need someone ot help me. I wanna be a nurse so bad thats why I went to school....please!

let me begin my saying that you are not alone. l graduated from school in 07. l took the nclex the first time l believe in o8 but, did not pass. l tried again in o9 still failed and again in 2010 but still failed. l was working as a cna and felt so bad because all my class mates passed and working as nurses. l wanted to try again but my state {colorado} became a compact state so l run out of luck here in colorado but guess what? l did not give up. l called the state board and l was told l can register through wyoming which l did. since l have been out of school since 07 l said to my self l need to do something different. l asked my self what l was doing wrong and failing because l know l passed nursing school. anyway, this time l took 3 - 4 weeks with intense studing. l studied for seven - eight hours a day. during my studies, there was no distraction { no t.v., radio, no cell phones and no facebooking}. l also used saunders, did my flash cards and also come on this site after my studies. people posted questions and others answered, so l decided to go through them. some one also posted infection control precautions on the site and l copied it wish helped me alot. with saunders, l really studied the core content. when l was taking the nclex l said to my self , l need to read the questions really good and to understand what they are asking for. also used abc , maslow's, nursing process to answer my question and l passed with 205 questions. l also used the following. someone posted it and l study with that. lt helped me alot since there were alot of infection precaution on the exams. you can do it. lf l graugrated in 07 then you can do it. good luck don't give up on you dreams and pray, pray and pray that god should let you pass. hope this will encourage you.

I would love to talk to u b/c u seen like u kno where I'm coming from thanks!!! ANd all my classmates have pass and look at me a loser.....all i hope is that i pass b/c in the state of IL (where I'm at) after 3 yrs of submiting ur application (its gonna be a yr now) if u dont pass u have to go back to school! 7Laquisha, l do know how you feel. remember you are not a looser. you have been able to go through nursing school. remember that some people can't even finish the program so never call yourself a looser. all you have to do is relax when taking the exams and don't rush or panic, make sure you read the questions really good and understand what they are asking you. you know it, you just have to relax. l have to take tylenol when l got to the center. l got there 30 mins early so by the time l was checked in the tylenol has start to calm my nerves. l took the med because the night before the exams, l was not able to sleep and in the morning on my way l start to get headache. l told my self that l can do it. Have faith in yourself and pray to God. Everyone is different but l did about 300 questions from saunders book which l know was not enough. l just studied the core content from saunders and did flash cards. everyone is different so pls sit down and see what is going to help you. ask your self, what you are doing wrong, lf you panic, then you have to relax because my problem was anxiety. remember use your abc, maslow, nursing process. l believe in you and if God has let me through, He will also do the same for you. go on your knees and pray to Him. you will pass in Jesus name. Just make up your mind that you are going to treat studying as a job and do your best at it. Remember, the sooner you apply yourself and pass NCLEX, the sooner it will no longer be looming in front of you, impeding your progress.

Havefaithingod: U know what you are absolutely right! I decided that I WILL pass this test if its the last thing I do today is my 3rd day studying and I tell u I go every rational regarless if I got it right the first time! I will succeed b/c before anything thier is a god and if I put a little effort and time god will do the rest. I'm putting myself in his hands and also helping myself. I got this I got this. I dont test until acouple of weeks. I feel that if I dont say when I test is less stress on my part. But thanks so much u totally bosted my motivation. I am determine/focus to pass. And wish me the best. I will be very busy but its ok b/c I kno I'm doing this for myself. Thanks so much and I will continue to pray and practice b/c practice makes perfect!!!

i will first tell you i to failed 3times and passed my fourth time on april 1st 2011 i took the new pn nclex... it is not anyharder than the first times.. they just changed the percentages around... also there is 2 books

exam cram

linda lacharity prioritization, deligation for rn

get those 2 books and pray, pray, pray and take notes.

that is what i finally had to do those 2 book and take notes....

you can do just pray...

To Khodge: First of all thank you for your replying I apreciate it! You said you took the New Nclex the new one April! I have a very important question for you what year did you graduate? I graduated in May 2010! so its been almost a year!!! What kind of questions did u have on the exam? if you dont mund me asking you. And have u looked to see if you passed? I wanna pass so bad I really do and this being my 6th time basiclly i mean i have confidence I would appreciate ur input. Thank you! I'll wait for ur respose!!!

7laquisha i to graduated may 2010.... you can do it just get thoses 2 books and take notes and pray... good luck oh i did the pvt trick it said pass and i called bon on monday since i took it on friday and they said i passed..
