I just found out that I failed my nclex again for the third time here in NJ. It says on the paper that I have to take a remediation course because I failed the exam for the third time. I'm planning to move in Florida this year. Do I still have to do the remediation course if I apply to another state? Do you know anyone who does a good remediation course? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

This would be a question for the FL Board. Good luck.
Is the remedial course the same as the review courses offered by some companies? Or do I really have to a school for this?

Well even if you move to another state...the Nclex is a standard test...which means it is the same test in every state. It test nurses at entry level. To see if you are safe enough to get a license. If I were you I would take a review course such as Hurst. And use the saunder book and cd. Because it cost each time you have to retake the test....wouldn't you rather pay for a review course and save money. So you can learn, what you are doing wrong such as the way you are attacking the questions. THE GOAL IS TO GET MORE QUESTIONS RIGHT THEN WRONG ON THE BOARD. Don't give up....you will have to face the same thing in florida, and you don't want to delay your licenses any longer. You can do it. Just need to tighten up in a few areas....don't give up....stop thinking on the neg side. I wish you the best.

Florida has the same rule after 3 you take a remedial course, so I believe you have to take one. To be sure just contact floridas BON. Goodluck.
