Failed Nclex 2nd time

Published

Hi, I am new here. I took my nclex this january and failed again for the second time. My first attempt was last october 2014. I am really worried that I might not become a RN. But I am planning to retake it again after a few months so that knowledge is still fresh.

Based on my CPR I got 6 near passing standard and 2 below passing. Am I close to passing or still lacks knowledge? And anyone of you here failed the nclex rn but has an above passing standard categories on CPR like 2 or 3 and so?

By the way how may months do you usually prepared for nclex rn exams? I currently used saunders for rationales and recently before taking the exams i enrolled kaplan live review and take their questions but still failed. Right now I just nclex rn mastery app because based on my observation the review is really high and rationales are really detailed.Anyone of you here are using the nclex mastey app? I hope I can pass the nclex in the near future. Suggestions and replies are very much appreciated thank you fellow nurses.

Focus on your weakness from CPR.. also if you can get lippinicott Q&A book you can do lots questions and read chapters since it contains contents. Do not buy any review course. Finish lippinocott while you do nclex rn mastery app then purchase 30 days course such as u world it contains great questions with good rationals. Remember to focus on your weakness (below passing) also review near passing too.

Good luck!

Thank you so much for the advice. Il check u world, I havent heard about that. Hopefully I can make it on my next attempt.

The most important thing to remember is don't panic. Most people who fail do so because they panic when they see queestion #76. Stay calm. Focus on the task at hand. The NCLEX can be especially difficult if English is not your native language. Pat yourself on the back for simply making it this far.
