sorry that happened to you...im goin on try number 3....just dont give up!!! nclex is unlike any other and its not easy and lots and lots of people fail it....just start over from the beginning....lacharity has an awesome book on prioritization you should check out....will give you practice answering those upper level questions...you can do it!!
next time if you pass 75 think of it as a good thing, it means you are near passing. passing 75 is not the time to worry, it's the time to get serious and start reading the questions over, and looking carefully at your answers. everyone wants to pass with 75, but stopping at 75 is scary, you either did great or terrible. i know someone that failed with 75, when he told me he stopped at 75 i was convinced he passed because he was smart. when he told me he failed i was like "omg with 75" he did really badly
anyway if you pass 75 next times, don't put your head down and cry because you won’t pass being so emotional, get serious because it means you are almost passing, take 5mins for each question if you have to. one more story, i had a friend who passed with 76, so she was getting half right and wrong (however it's calculated) she got 76 right and she got enough to pass.
don't let 76-265 scare you
good luck next time

thanks for the pointer! i failed with 256 and after question 75 my level of anxiety continued to raise. i knew i was still in the game but with each question i had a rising feeling of failure in my chest.

I totally let the test and its intimidation get me...I should've rescheduled like my gut told me too. I got all 265 and when I got to question 150 I put my head down and started crying I already knew I failed when I got to that point. I have horrible test anxiety and I put so much weight on the test. I already have my lpn and passed that one on the first try..just totally psyched myself out. I feel embarrassed...I'm studying Kaplan this time around and how they ask questions. 45 days wait and keeping my fingers crossed I will hopefully be an RN...
