My friend took her board before she started her GN orientation/position and failed. She wanted to know if she's required to let them know that she failed the boards. Her job is offering a huge loan forgiveness program and she's afraid of losing it. I believe she should tell but I don't honestly know what the protocol is. If anyone knows please reply. TIA.
The hospital is also capable of looking up whether she passed or not. Here, hospitals ask what the date of the testing is, then the manager starts checking to see if they passed or failed.
If your friend's hospital does this and she has not come forward then she can be in more trouble.
If you know of a someone who is working as a nurse without a license, you are just as liable for patient safety. If your friend won't tell, you need to.

Is that a joke, or are you seriously suggesting that the person not report to the facility? Practicing without a license is a serious violation of the law.
