Hi!
My nursing license expired 9 months ago (I haven't been working as a nurse, so no problems with working under an expired license).
Does anyone know New York State's policy for reinstating an expired nursing license?

Wouldn't it be on their BON web site?

I Googled the title of your thread Expired New York State Nursing License.†The following, from the New York State Office of the Professions Online Registration Renewal & Professional Photo ID Card Requests was the first response.
From the how to Renew Online section:
To apply online for renewal of your registration to practice in New York, you must be able to answer "YES" to all of the following three (3) statements:1. There are no more than five (5) months left in my current registration period OR my last valid registration period ended less than four (4) months ago;2. I will use a valid credit card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express) for this transaction; and3. I have my seven (7) character PIN which appears on the registration renewal document sent to me recently. If you answered "No" to any of the questions, you must request a paper renewal application. Please email [email protected]. Be sure to include your profession and license number.
