Experience loving/owning Asics running shoes?

This is a new brand of shoe for me, but I've heard good things and wanted to share my experience so far. I recently bought a pair of [h=1]Women's GT 1000 2 Running Shoes[/h](Amazon.com: ASICS Women's GT 1000 2 Running Shoe,Raspberry/White/Mango,8 M US: Shoes) and am very pleased with the outcome. I think they're reasonable for running shoes and they offer great ankle support. I'm also in love with how bright the colors are. That said, I just bought them and haven't tried them out on the floor yet (I start a new job in a couple weeks) so I wanted to know what other people have to say about these shoes. Anyone?

I'm an ASICS addict! But I go for the more pricy ones... (i.e. Cumulus and Nimbus). I've worn them since high school since there is nothing with more support, but also comfort! I have warn a pair from my first shift as a CNA 5 years ago and continue to wear them as an LPN and while I go back to school to complete my RN! Stick with ASICS and i think you'll be happy

I love Asics running shoes. Asics have been my go to running shoe for several years because of the comfort and support they offer my feet. The only other brand of shoe I wear is Dansko.

Many years ago, I bought a pair of Asics but found I was unable to wear them because they hurt my feet. Have not returned to the brand since.
