Exit HESI at Grayson

Published

:banghead:Hey, all! Does anyone have any words of wisdom about the exit HESI exam? When I took the mid-curricular HESI exam last year, my score was 846 which was 4 points from a passing score. Thank goodness that score didn't pass or fail me. One of my classmates made an 849! Is there anything that I can do to better prepare myself for the test? I do know that we have three chances to pass, but that doesn't make me feel better about it. Anyway, thank you all in advance for your advise.

I'm planning to apply there for next year; I did not know that they required a HESI exit

exam! Details, please!!

I didn't go to Grayson, but I recently took an exit HESI, so I can give you some advice on how to prepare: Just study for the NCLEX. Since it is supposed to be an indication of how well you'll do on the NCLEX, the exit HESI is fairly comprehensive and covers a little of everything. On a more specific note, one that that really helped me was reviewing normal lab values. There were several questions that required knowing specific values (think electrolytes, CBC, etc.). Also, spend some time on the areas where you were weak on the mid-HESI. Good luck!

Any advice, tips for the Entrance HESIA2?

Thanks!
