My school recently changed their graduation requirements in which they made it mandatory to pass the kaplan secure predictor with a 70. For the past 3 or 4 graduating class the pass rate has been significantly low, so this time they ensured us that they were making changes and they were going to remediate from the very beginning. we have been studying, remediating, qbanks everything that is recommended by kaplan to pass. So when the day of the "predictor" comes we get blind sided with this exam called Exit CHC. I don't have any idea where this exam came from, there's no information out there at all about this exam not even the bench mark that kaplan sets for it, its not even part of the kaplan curriculum. I don't understand how they could have done this to us, there was a 0 pass rate out of 24 that took it. From my understanding this test was also given at the Newport News & Richmond campus and there was also a 0 pass rate. Something is not right! Our Student handbook states that we will be given the secure predictor. If anyone knows what this exam is I would appreciate some insight.

I was given Exit CHC as well, and failed miserably like everyone else. I attend MCI at a campus not mentioned in your post. I'd really like to discuss this with you further. I'm new to allnurses; is there a way to send private messages on this site?

I attend one of the campuses mentioned above. Today we were given something called Predictor E. 11 out of 13 failed. The test consist mostly on care plans and nursing diagnosis something MCI doesn't go over unless you are at clinicals. When I contacted Kaplan they said there was no such thing as Predictor E and they had no information on me ever taking a test. When I went back to remediate the test it had been taking down.
