I guess this is the right place to ask this--if not, please move it!
In my Developmental Pscology class, which met for the first time tonight, we were put into groups, and assigned the task of doing a very short presention on a pre-natal issue. One of the girls in the group came up with exercizing while pregenant...so, I choose to do exersizes that should not be done while pregenant.
If anyone could be of assistance, that would be great! Thank you!
Midget I found a link from Yoga Journal about inversions during menstruation:
I played softball just about the whole time I was pregnant...both times. I also ran, swam, walked, ect. I had always played sports so it was in excellent shape.....I did not gain much weight, so I did not have a lot to loose after. I remember when my first child was born I started having some discharge. I called my mom, and she said you are going into labor.....do not go to the hospital start walking! I did...went to the hospital at 12:30am, and my daughter was born at 22 mins after 1. I got along great both times, and had two healthly babies!

Thank you for all your help gathering my information! :) One question precauting though, that I heard from a mom, was that pregnant women should not do inverted yoga poses, nor should mensturating women. Why is that? I was especially intrigued by why women on their periods should not do inverted yoga poses. Any thoughts?
