excited

:) Hey alllllll

I was so excited to see such a site b'coz I have never known about it before. I am really really new to this site & here is my HAI to all my friends. As I was in a problem now this site gave me much peace. As now I know I can get my doubts cleared from some one who knows nursing and Ohio rules. Hey I am a RN who got terminated from the job due to unfair dealings of the employer. As I was in a contract with them I could not give resignation , so I had to wait till they terminate me. So I am just worried how this termination affects my future job search. If I apply for job somewhere else will this employer make a problem. Just help me with your valuable advices. I am really waiting for that. So see you all soon.

Hey Simba,

It is a law here in Ohio that previous employers cannot say anything derogatory to a potential employer. All that the previous employer is legally allowed to say is the time frame that you worked for them.

If the potential employer asks you the reasons, tell them the truth, be honest. You do not have to get into the nitty- gritty if you do not want, just tell them something like "It was mutual conflict" or something along that line.

GOODLUCK and GODBLESS!!!!!!!!

You can go the OBN website and download standard of practice and all kinds of information.
