Hello. I am starting the EC program and was wondering if there was anyone else in the Indianapolis area that was interested in forming a study group. I am about to start studying for NC 1.

Thank you so much. I am really nervous about passing the tests. I will just need to crack down and make study time. Put it in my schedule just like an appointment. Any study tips?

Use EC's exam content guides to direct your study. Also, the $60 practice exams (you get two 100-question exams for that price) are worth the money, seriously.
Thank you for the information! The books that are suggested are they really helpful? If I just used the study guide as reference and used another textbook with similiar information will I be ok? I will definitetly get the practice exams. How similiar are they to the actual test? Sorry for all the questions. I just want to do good on these tests. My husband will be gone for a year and a half and I want to have my RN by the time he comes back.
Yep -- I didn't buy the exact recommended textbooks for maternal-neonatal, for example, but used the exam content guide to make sure I read the appropriate stuff. :)
The practice exams are very similar in flavor to the real exams. They are also great study tools because they provide the rationales for both the correct and incorrect answers, and can show you which subject areas might need more attention.
