Excelsior and Student Loans

Got this from EC today;

Please be advised, on October 8, 1997, the U.S. Department of Education notified us that, under current federal regulations, Excelsior College is not eligible to participate in federal student financial aid programs.

So.......no Federal Stafford loans available. Does anyone know any student loan programs that will accept EC students? Thanks.

Yes, I had luck with A "Plato" loan from Wells Fargo. Excelsior has a list of private lending institutions. Hope that helps.

Thanks! I've been just paying cash as I go, but I would like to make it just a bit less tight. The place I hope to work does student loan reimbursement, so hopefully I can get some help with the loan later.
