excelsior question re lifespan

through excelsior is lifespan a course and test or just a test. have gone through the website and can only find where to register for the test. nothing about registering for the course. any help will do. thanks

Excelsior just offers the exam at this point, but as they move to more and more of an instructional (rather than evaluation) focus, hopefully there will be a course option at some point.

I did the same as you, looked and looked until finally I called EC. I was told that in the ASN program there is no course work just exams. However I thought I would mention to you that there is a CLEP exam for life span, not sure if this is a route you would like to take, but you can save a lot of $. The CLEP is $70 vs $190?? Remember though you must first get approval prior to taking it. The actual CLEP test is called Human Growth and Development. Also there are other CLEP exams to cover most Gen Eds (A&P, Micro,English etc.). Thought maybe I would mention it, I did this for this exact class. I took the life span class with almost no studying and got a B Go for it. Its one of the easier tests I think.
