Excelsior Pace

Hi there! I was hoping someone who's taken a few nursing classes at excelsior could tell me if it's possible to study for two exams at a time and take them together at around 8 week intervals. Is it too ambitious or reasonable?

Thanks!

I don't think 8 weeks is too ambitious at all as long as you feel comfortable testing when the time comes. Before excelsior forced me to take a winter break (won't let me schedule an exam between Dec 13 and Jan 4) I was testing every 2 weeks. I prefer to focus on one exam at a time but this method would allow for 4 exams in 8 weeks which is pretty good considering there's only 8 nursing exams to be taken. As Pixie mentioned earlier and as I have said many times on these forums, use caution when deciding when to test. I happen to test very well and have received mainly A's thus far (don't want to jinx it). Grades do matter and while they say "C's get degrees" I've yet to meet a CRNA or APN who settled for doing the minimum amount of work to get the minimum passing grade. Just something to keep in mind.
