i am transfering to a bsn program in colorado from new york and the answer to your question is, no!!!!
so if you plan to work in colorado, or if you live there, don't go the excelsior route.
good luck

I believe the CO does accept EC but with some clinical required. There is also, sometimes, the option of "endorsing in," meaning you get licensure and work in another state for x hours and then the other state will accept you.
Post this is the Distance Learning forum. you will get more of a response there.
Does anyone have actual proof that CO will require clinicals before taking the NCLEX (for Excelsior grads)? I currently live in OK & they do. Also, to the person moving from NY, where did you obtain your info that Excelsior is not accepted?
