Unless she is already at least an LPN, it will be of no use. They offer a bridge program that is accepted. This program is not going to be of any use to her and she will not meet the requirements for admission. Sorry......... :)

Surperised is that she was accepted based on her medical assistant certificate AND her nursing education in her country.

After get the degree, can her meet the requirement of the visa screen?

If she already does not have a license as a health care provider in her country, it will be hard for the degree to be recognized. Not all states permit licensure with a degree from there, not even for Americans. What is she planning to do about her clinical training? There are much better avenues available for her. Visa Screen will probably give her some grief over it, it is easier to just get it done the complete way. Especially with language issues that will appear, you need to hear voices, not just train over a computer.

Hey, I am getting my a$$ kicked all over the distance nursing discussion board because I don't happen to think getting upside down for $24,000 for the privledge of learning to become an RN from a book was such a great idea.

Some of those distance learning people are rabid about it.
