Excelsior to boost undergrad gpa?

I'm considering taking a few excelsior graduate courses to boost my undergrad BSN gpa (3.07) before applying to an NP program. I'm in the military and they have a very affordable military rate/hr and seem to be flexible enough for me to complete the course while being stationed on a ship.

I do have some concerns regarding EC's reputation, since some state BON's dont recognize (initial) nursing degrees. Does anyone have guidance regarding their graduate program? Reputable? Especially when viewed by other universities? Just wondering if it would be worth my time and money.

Only California does not accept the Excelsior ADN, but the BSN is accepted by them.

Thanks for the reply. I'm mainly wondering if their graduate school is reputable. I have my BSN from a brick-and-mortar state university. I made mainly "B's" and now want to increase my chances of getting into a good NP Program and since Excelsior's price and convenience work well with my currrent active duty military status, I am wondering if its worth my time and money to invest in a few graduate level classes to boost my chances of getting accepted elsewhere.

I haven't heard of EC's grad level courses or degrees being looked at differently from other accredited programs. They are accredited, and they are not competency based. They should be evaluated w/ equal weight as other accredited programs' grad level courses.
