Up until this past spring semester i was attending a nursing program/BS level. Unfort. i received 2 non passing grades. First course i waited too long to drop course. The 2nd course PHy Assessment i did not pass the final exam in lab but did fine in lecture, B average. Unfort one had to pass both sections of Assessment to pass course. I was not allowed to stay in program.
I am looking at other programs in ST Louis area. The main reasons i did not do well in those classes (others i prev took, i got B's in) was because i was looking for a job (for over a year of being unemployed) and was very stressed out about that and that I got behind in studying and did not develop good study habits until it was too late. I still love nursing, always reading about nursing subjects and now i have found job as patient safety assistant in area hospital.
I wanted to get other people's opinions on this situation. I was recently accepted into area nursing program but on waiting list for clinical.
