Evidence based practice- Pressure sores

Hi everyone!!!

I need help...I need to write this APA paper about evidence based practice regarding pressure ulcer. Is there a website that has journals that are free to download? Also, I need to look up what the current evidence recommends as best practice, do you have any idea where I could find those in the internet? Help!!!!! Thank you.:bluecry1:

i suggest you put your head together with the reference librarian at your school so he/she can help you find some of these journals and articles. that is the point of doing this assignment.

And did you do that? If you still had trouble did you go back to her for more help? Or did you give up and post on allnurses? Giving you initial instructions on how to begin a search doesn't sound rude to me. Talk to another librarian, go to her boss or one of your instructors to complain if you feel she wasn't doing her job. Ultimately, you are responsible for doing your own searches of the data bases and not the librarian. Most students aren't aware that they can go to other college libraries and use their facilities as well. The librarians at the front desk can give you that information.
