Did anyone get accepted and staring spring 2013?
tung1104- You use the ATI books in addition to your other assigned books for the program. Along the way you will take computerized ATI tests as you finish different subjects. These are used as a kind of predictor for the NCLEX. The ATI books are usually a more condensed version of the material you are learning.
Hope that helps!
@cnoto34 thank you for the luck! I'm still working on pre reqs. I have another year or so left. Just want to plan ahead on what I should do to increase my chances of getting in. I know the time will fly by.
When you say it was a tough and challenging program, is that because of clinical + homework. Or are the professors tough? What's a typical weekly schedule like? Thanks in advance for your input.
@30pls- It's not that the work is extremely "hard" it's just that there is A TON of work that has to be completed. As you have more patients in clinical- your work load increases- long nights - long days. You have to take it all one thing at a time or it can be very overwhelming.
BUT - that being said- IT'S ALL DOABLE!
