Everest College Ontario RN program

U.S.A. California

Hello all,

I know there are already a couple of posts for this school, but reading through the threads I didn't get all the information that I was looking for and considering that they are pretty old threads I made a new one because I didn't think anyone would look at those anymore. I've already completed all my prereqs at a community college, but I don't want to wait around forever to get into the community college rn program.

Anyways, I wanted to find out for those who are already in the program or have the info. What kind of studying should I do for their entrance exam? What kind of stuff comes in the tests. I also would like to know the cost or estimated cost of the school. And how do they go about choosing the students for the program? What exactly is the application process?

I've already called the school, but the lady that answered the phone wasn't able to give me much info except for that info sessions are in August and the program starts up again in January.

And if you are already in the program, I would like to know how to do you find the teachers to be?? Would you say that this is a good academic choice??

Please help me as I live really far away from this school and I am moving out there just for the program. It is a little difficult for me to just drive over to visit the school. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

No problem. Yes I really do hope we all get in. Its down to the final 200! Good luck jcabrera!!

Wow! Down to 200 people out of about 1000!! I can't believe that many people failed the test!

thanks jmira:) wow....that is soooo crazy!

Hi All, did my interview last week. Overall not so bad. The woman who interviewed me was very nice and made me feel comfortable. It took about 1 1/2. Said they would let me know before christmas. Good luck to everyone.:)

Yes the final 200 its crazy! So many people didn't even bother to show up. Or so many failed such an elementary test. These are gonna be a long 6 weeks to find out. I hope we all get to be classmates :-)

jmira...yeah that would be awesome actually, if we all got accepted and started school together :D Is everyone from the area?? Am I the only one moving to attend school?

Hi good luck!! One quick question. Was your short essay topic why you wanna be a nurse too? Thanks

I live 50 miles away and will be doing the commute (hopefully) everyday. If anyone who lives in the Glendale area wants to commute (when we get it:) let me know.

awesome!! glad u did well dexandmon:) study groups if we all make it! deal?? haha...who has facebook, oh and and interview questions you can share with me? pretty pleeease, my interviews this wed.

emt a, get an interview yet??

wow, there was so many questions. mostly about how you would handle the challenges of being in the program. Especially if your married with kids. They want to see that you won't leave half way through the program. make them feel sure you won't. Giving them examples how you have followed through in other areas of your life. point out that you have a big cheering squad behind you. Good luck everyone. and a BIG YES on getting a study group when we finally make it.:)

Congrats and good luck to all you guys. I called in today and hoping a response back within the week.

Jmira - did she say that there's already been 200 tested for interviews, or is that the amount of students who got to the interview level?
