I'm filled with contentment at the moment. But how long will this last? In the end, am I going to find myself that satisfaction that I was missing or am I going to find myself with disappointment?
I passed my HESI with: Reading 84%, Grammer 84%, Math 90%, Vocabulary 82%
With all the struggles, I have finally passed the nursing entrance exam at Everest. God is Good! I have asked for his blessings to help me. I am filled with joy over this. If you could only understand. Being a working mother and everything else that life gave me can be quite an obstacle. I've had the poorest study habits in the past; I'm quite distracted, especially with the kids. Stress at work has always been a factor; my mind is mentally drained by the time I start the books. But I would find myself questioning how long will this continue? I have been longing to get into nursing school for so long. Now, I've finally passed! I'm not stupid after all lol. I'm planning to enroll for the January enrollment, however I have to write an essay and have an interview with the nursing panel. They have not gone over this with me but I have an idea. I'm so nervous - I'm hoping to get accepted. Are they really that picky?
Has anyone gone to Everest College? Pleasure share your experience during your interview.

You may want to research this institution further before continuing with them. If it is Everest College in Henderson (looks like you're in Vegas). Their current pass rate is only 80% http://nevadanursingboard.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/2016_Q2_Report4_ResultsByEdProgNCLEX-RN_Nevada-State-Board-of-Nursing_JUL-2016.pdf.pdf
While 2015 was better, with a 90% pass rate, 2014 was 72%, and 2013 was only 70%. These are very poor pass rates. Further, if you look at their website, it states that only 35% of those who started the program actually finished it. That is a dismal completion rate.
