I am a student at Baptist in the evening and weekend program. Evening/weekenders get priority during class registration, and classes are usually 6-915 pm. I like it so far. The faculty and staff have been friendly and helpful. I have heard nothing but good things, which is why I am there. Good luck!

Are you working full time? Did you already have a degree? How long is it going to take you to complete?? Sorry for all the questions! I already have a b.a. and a m.s. and I'm applying for Baptist for the fall trimester.

I have several questions about Baptist Evening program. #1 - "Is the material that's given during the class is actually what will be covered on the test?". #2 - "Is everything for the class scheduled during the evening if you are an evening student?" example - I'm currently in the Nursing program at Southwest and they have Test review done through the day and I work so I'm not able to review my test because they will only do it once. Another example is the material that they give for the test is not always on the test but addition material is on the test that we have not reviewed. And the big one is that we have to take a Hesi exam that suppose to cover what we have learned through the semester but most of the questions looks foreign.
I would love to talk to someone that would be able to answer a few questions concerning Baptist since I am working on applying in the Fall.

So far, the things covered in class have been on the tests. But, I am only taking the Geneds right now, no hardcore Nursing classes. I start clinicals in Fall of 09.

The only program I know that is in the evening/weekend near Knoxville is at Carson-Newman. It starts this fall, and you may be able to still get in there.
