Hello:
I am a former National Registered Paramedic, EMT-P, currently I am a social worker and would love to go to school to become an LPN. Unfortunately, I must continue to work my day job and appears I will need to study in the evenings and weekend, and prefer not to do online courses if possible. Can anyone suggest such a program in the Washington, DC, Maryland, Northern Virginia area? P.S.--I am in my mid-40's, what do you think?

Hi,
I'm not familiar with the DC schools but maybe check the DC section. Maryland has quite a few CCs with LPN programs but I'm not aware of any that aren't during the day. I worked all through school and was around your age so its definitely doable! Good luck.

Hi, there's a school in Alexandria, VA called Global Health Nurse Training Services. I think they have LPN evening classes.
