so im an ED RN for about 6 months now and previous med surg experience as a CNA. I applied to Davita since its closer to my home and its located in a major hospital here in Miami. Best of all, its closer to my house. I'm getting overwhelmed by the ED but it definitely taught me some excellent clinical skills. My 6 months is up and i want to try something else. I heard Dialysis units are also ED's being fast paced and having some critical patients. I applied to DaVita and my 2 friends work for them and have said nothing but positive comments about them. Is it a big transition from the ED? im just curious. I do hope i get the job

My nursing background is 10 years in level one trauma center. I'm an APN so my role is different but we have codes in chronic dialysis units - had one last week in fact. Assessment skills can't be overemphasized.
