ER Nurses Week-What's everyone doing?

Hi all,

Just wondering what everyone's hospitals are doing for them for ER Nurses Week... tonight we're having a dinner and I can't wait, cuz supposedly there's some really good food! Hope everyone gets to do at least a little something at their facility!

Specializes in ED, ICU, PACU.
We had a "celebration"... It was mandatory. It was a 5 hour long meeting about what we need to do better in our ED. Not really a celebration. (But they did say "happy ER nurses week")

Sounds like you must be part of the same health system I am with; but, we didn't even get the recognition that it was Emergency Nurses week. Don't know which way is actually more insulting.
