I will receive my ABSN in June 2010 (already have a BS in Biology) and wondered what the difficulty was of getting an ER specialty slot. Do those tend to "fill up"? Also, when is the earliest my packet could get boarded? Thank you.

Since you will not have your BSN are you planning to do reserves? If you are it is harder to get in the specialty courses. There are seats set aside for reservist but often it is next to impossible to get orders to go. It can be done. If you plan on entering active duty with your BS in Biology you will be in the MSC not the ANC.
