About the shoes, do they have to be nursing shoes? Because the instructor I had last semester told us to buy running shoes instead. She said that a lot of nursing shoes are not comfortable. I bought white running shoes and they're doing the job.

Yep, mine are white walking shoes. Try ebay or allheart.com for some of your equipment.
