Good evening fellow nurses! My name is Crystal and I have not been on this website for a very long time. It has, however been very resourceful in the past. Especially when I had questions before my test.
I graduated Nursing school in December of 2013 and failed NCLEX twice. As of August 2018, I passed my NCLEX in FL and am looking to start my career. I was recently accepted into a Florida University for the RN to BSN program for January of 2019. I'm very nervous and would like some help with and advice on my resume and cover letter. I know it's a long-shot but I would like to work at a hospital. I don't know where to begin, or what to include. There are some helpful websites and videos online but the all seem to suggest something different and frankly, its made me anxious.
You all are superstars, from what i've read and have been beyond helpful to so many in need. Any feedback on this would be so helpful.

You will need to speak to why there's a 5-year gap between graduation and passing NCLEX and what you have been doing in the past 5 years to mitigate the loss of knowledge/skills learned in nursing school. (What HAVE you been doing?)
Honestly, your best bet is to apply to hospital new grad programs.
