Entering Nursing School in August

Published

I posted here quite some time back. I think even before I applied to nursing school.

Well I got in. I start on Aug. 15th. They already gave us a packet to start studying when we went to Orientation back in May. I also have my friend's first semester books so that I can get a jump on first semester.

Today I bought part of my uniform. The tops weren't in yet.

Any advice on stethescopes? watches? anything else I might need?

I am really excited!:yeah:

Angcurdy - I have a question for you!

You said that you got a packet and was told to study some things - what did they recommend that you study? I got my LPN in 2006 and have been working in a family practice clinic. I am returning to school this August to get my RN, and I really want to brush up on things, but I don't even know where to start! Just wondering what you were recommended to study up on.

Thanks!
